Don’t forget the Dog!
Holidays with your four legged friend
Cornwall is a paradise for pooches! Year round dog friendly beaches include Watergate Bay and with two of Tregurrian Villas at Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth Apartments at Mawgan Porth now accepting pets, there’s no need for kennels.
Both are just yards from dog-friendly golden sands and some fantastic coastal walks. Up to two well behaved dogs are accepted for a small supplement of £6 per dog per night. Registered guide and service dogs are free of charge.
Watergate Bay beach stretches for around 2 miles and then there are fantastic cliff top walks via the south west coast path. Most of Newquay’s beaches are also dog friendly, making the 3 mile walk worth the effort.
Four legged friends are also welcome at The Beach Hut and in The Living Space at The Watergate Bay Hotel, so dining out at Watergate Bay is an option.
Similarly, Mawgan Porth is a year-round dog-friendly beach. There are great walks towards Bedruthan Steps and Harlyn Bay, also year-round dog friendly beaches.
