North Cornwall’s famous beach
Watergate Bay, formerly know as Tregurrian beach, is a bay located two miles north of Newquay near the village of Tregurrian in the beautiful county of Cornwall. It has a two mile long, sandy beach and it is a popular location for water sports, kite flying, sand art and Polo on the Beach. In May, 2007, it played host to the English Nationals Surfing Championships.
